Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce had to juke around a pretty important question regarding his love life during Super Bowl LIX’s opening night on Monday in New Orleans.

Kelce will have a whole host of fans in his corner at the Caesars Superdome come the weekend, including his girlfriend Taylor Swift. The pop star had been following him and the Chiefs throughout the playoffs and will likely be in the Big Easy as her “Eras Tour” has come to a close.

The tight end was asked whether he planned on giving anyone a special ring on Sunday.

“A Super Bowl ring?” he asked coyly. “Next question.”

It is pretty clear the two have been hot and heavy for the last year and a half. Swift has been at a handful of Chiefs games since they started dating in 2023, and in turn, Kelce had been at some “Eras Tour” events during the summer – even appearing in one of her skits.

Love is definitely in the air, and it was felt all the way in Los Angeles on Sunday night when Swift showed up to the Grammy Awards.

Swift was in a red dress and showed her support for Kelce with a red “T” hanging from the bottom of it.

It is probably unlikely that Kelce would fulfill the “You Belong With Me” music video fantasy of the football-playing jock showing up to a wedding-like prom with the nerdy schoolgirl, but some fans are able to put their money where their mouths are.

FanDuel Canada is offering odds on whether Kelce will propose.

“At FanDuel Canada we are constantly looking for new ways to engage our customers with new and unique markets,” the FanDuel Canada Trading Team said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “The Super Bowl has a great history of these types of bets and we’re excited to be able to link pop culture and sport through our Travis Kelce/Taylor Swift offerings.”

The odds opened up at +140 for “yes” (a $100 bet wins $190), while “no” began at -170 (must bet $170 to win $100).

Just note, though, that the fine print states that the proposal must take place on the field after the game.

NFL star Xavier Worthy recalls meeting Taylor Swift after Chiefs’ AFC title game win: ‘She’s taller than me’

NFL rookie Xavier Worthy is sharing some details about meeting Taylor Swift.

The music star made her way to the field inside Arrowhead Stadium shortly after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills in the AFC championship game.

Cameras captured Worthy taking note of Swift’s stature moments after he greeted the “Anti-Hero” singer.

“Oh s—,” Worthy said as he smiled. “She’s taller than me.”

The Chiefs’ roster lists Worthy at 5-foot-11. By most accounts, Swift stands around one inch shorter than the Chiefs wide receiver. While Swift and Worthy are similar heights when flat-footed, the heels Swift was wearing at the time of the exchange could have made her appear to be taller than Worthy.

Worthy later confirmed Sunday’s game marked the first time he met Swift.

“I just met her.” Worthy told ABC 30. “It’s the video going viral right now. I was like, ‘Damn, she’s tall. She’s taller than me.’”

Worthy added that Swift recognized him because Kansas City selected him in the first round of April’s draft.

“We were on the field, and she walked right past me and said, ‘Oh you’re the one who got drafted?” Worthy said. “So, we met like that. It was cool.”

Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, recently said the pop star continues to support him.

“She’s fully encouraging me to enjoy playing this game,” Kelce said earlier this month.

Kelce, 35, is playing in his 12th season in the NFL. He appeared in 16 of 17 games and finished the year with 823 receiving yards.

The 2024 campaign marked the second consecutive year the star tight end did not reach the 1,000-yard receiving mark, which prompted some questions about whether he would step away once the postseason comes to an end.

“I got all the support in the world to keep chasing these dreams,” Kelce added.

Kansas City has advanced to the last seven AFC title games. The Chiefs will take on the NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl Feb. 9 in New Orleans. The Chiefs are vying for an unprecedented third consecutive Super Bowl championship.

NFL legend laments difficulty of beating Chiefs: ‘You gotta beat the refs, you gotta beat Taylor Swift’

Pro Football Hall of Famer Andre Reed underscored the difficulty of defeating the Kansas City Chiefs at their home stadium amid frustrations with the loss the Buffalo Bills suffered in the AFC Championship.

Reed, who starred as a Bills wide receiver during the team’s four straight Super Bowl losses, watched again as the team fell short against the Chiefs. He touched on the controversy surrounding the questionable calls from officials that seem to favor Kansas City as well.

Needless to say, the seven-time Pro Bowler was hot.

“The bottom line is you just gotta go out there and not play against the refs, but you kind of to a center point,” Reed said on “The Jim Rome Show.” “A lot of Chiefs are going to tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about. That might be the case. But when you go into Kansas City, you gotta beat a lot of people. You gotta beat the team, you gotta beat the fans, you gotta beat the refs, you gotta beat Taylor Swift. You gotta beat everybody.

“If you just go out there and throw that all out the window and beat Kansas City at their own game, and beat them, that all is never gonna be said. Yesterday we didn’t do that.”

Reed said he wasn’t sure if the Bills would have won if the Xavier Worthy catch was overturned to be an incomplete pass and if Josh Allen got the first down on a 4th-and-1 play.

But it was those two plays that had fans wondering what officials were looking at the entire game.

Despite many eyebrows being raised, Dean Blandino, the NFL’s former head of officiating, says he doesn’t see favoritism toward the Chiefs.

“People are talking about officiating a little too much.… It’s always going to be a part of the conversation,” Blandino told TMZ Sports.

“Do teams get breaks at times? They do. And not every call is right. And sometimes that happens. I think it evens out over time. Me watching it, I don’t see these games and say the Chiefs are getting all these calls. These are close, close plays, and they happened to go in the Chiefs’ favor on Sunday.”

Blandino also disputed any notion there is some sort of conspiracy to favor the Chiefs.

“I get it. I’m a fan first. I grew up in New York as a Knicks fan watching Michael Jordan crush my dreams and saying, ‘The league wants Michael Jordan in the championships.’ Ultimately, when you’re a part of the NFL and you realize, for it to really be a conspiracy, do you know the amount of people that would have to be involved?

“Someone somewhere would slip up, and it would get out. If there was a room in the NFL office where they were writing the script, they never invited me, and I was the head of officiating. I feel like I’d be a pretty important contributor to that. I get it. People are passionate. I just think, sometimes, officials make mistakes… sometimes, when you have a team that has been this successful, I think it’s par for the course.”

  • Ex-NFL star touts ‘awesome’ impact Taylor Swift has made since going to Chiefs games

Ex-NFL star touts ‘awesome’ impact Taylor Swift has made since going to Chiefs games

Taylor Swift is set to be a focal point at the Super Bowl for the second consecutive year as she will very likely be in a suite at the Caesars Superdome cheering on Travis Kelce.

There is a lot less uncertainty around her appearance than there was last year. Swift was in the midst of the Asian leg of her “Eras Tour” and needed the conditions to be just right for her to fly back to Las Vegas to watch the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers.

This time, the tour is finished, and Swift has her sights set on New Orleans. While the broadcast cameras were not necessarily on her every move during the playoffs so far, the impact she has made on fans – specifically young female fans – has been indelible.

Former New England Patriots star Julian Edelman underscored that point during his appearance on “Fox & Friends” on Tuesday.

“Honestly, it’s been an awesome thing because my daughter does talk about football,” Edelman told Fox News Channel’s Ainsley Earhardt. “You know, playing for the New England Patriots, it’s terrible to hear your daughter say Chiefs all the time.

“It gives us a conversation point. She loves learning about it.”

Edelman will be a part of FOX’s coverage for Super Bowl LIX with Charissa Thompson, Charles Woodson, Michael Vick, Peter Schrager, Kristina Punk and Cooper Manning.

WNBA star Caitlin Clark details ‘incredible’ experience alongside Taylor Swift at Chiefs’ playoff game

Caitlin Clark, the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year, shared some details about her experience attending an NFL postseason game with Taylor Swift.

Clark sat beside Swift in a luxury suite at Arrowhead Stadium, the home of the Kansas City Chiefs, Jan. 18. The star duo chatted and hugged at times as the Chiefs took on the Houston Texans.

During a recent appearance on a podcast, Clark confirmed she supports the Chiefs and praised Swift’s kindness.

“I’m a huge Chiefs fan, and Taylor is a huge Chiefs fan,” Caitlin told the “Swarmcast” podcast. “Taylor is very sweet and very kind, and it’s a good reminder that people in our position are very normal. We enjoy watching sports and hanging out with our friends. It puts a great perspective on life.”

Since last season, Swift has made frequent appearances at Chiefs games in support of the team and star tight end Travis Kelce.

Clark further raved about her and Swift’s shared fondness for the Chiefs.

“It’s just cute to see how excited she is for the Chiefs and getting to share that. I was like, ‘Oh my God, she loves this. She loves the Chiefs as much as me, This is incredible,’” Clark said.

Clark said the meeting between the Chiefs and Texans ended up being “a perfect game.”

We ended up winning,” the Indiana Fever star added. “There was nothing crazy that happened, and we felt confident as it got to the end. It ended up being a perfect game.”

“Can somebody tell me what possessed Caitlin Clark to associate with Taylor Swift?” he asked.

A video also showed what Swift told Mahomes on the field as confetti fell onto GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

“Oh my God, you kept me so calm the last couple weeks,” the pop star said, which was captured by The Kansas City Star on TikTok.

Mahomes had a little more experience in handling the high-pressure moments that the Chiefs have dealt with over the last few years. The Associated Press noted that Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has trailed in the fourth quarter in nine playoff games and has won the game in six of those times. He forced overtime in two others before losing.

Taylor Swift was seen entering Arrowhead Stadium to cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs in their effort to make history and compete for a third straight Super Bowl championship.

Swift was far from the focal point of the contest as the Chiefs topped the Buffalo Bills. The CBS broadcast showed her reacting to a big play in the game along with at least two shots of her hanging out with her mother, Andrea, and Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna.

The next time Swift was shown was on the field as she and Donna watched Travis celebrate the team’s third consecutive conference title. Cameras also caught the two lovebirds sharing a few kisses in the mix of the celebration.

Swift was a major focus for the NFL and broadcasts during the 2023 season as she and the Chiefs’ star tight end announced themselves to the world as a couple. The “Swift Effect” was real, and her fandom drew an increase in viewership for the game.

However, Swift herself expressed some dismay with the attention she received in a 2023 interview with Time magazine.

“I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in,” she said. “There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once.

“I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads,” she added, referencing the hype that came with her appearances – good and bad.

This season, Swift was seen at Arrowhead Stadium a few times, but she also had to continue with her “Eras Tour.” When the Chiefs were off, she and Kelce were spotted in New York City having dinner multiple times.
