‘JOE, YOU’RE FIRED’: President Trump revokes Biden’s security clearances, intel briefings

President Donald Trump on Friday announced he is revoking former President Joe Biden’s security clearances and stopping his daily intelligence briefings.

“There is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social Friday night.

The privileges will be revoked immediately, according to the President.

He added the precedent was set by Biden himself.

“He set this precedent in 2021, when he instructed the Intelligence Community (IC) to stop the 45th President of the United States (ME!) from accessing details on National Security, a courtesy provided to former Presidents,” Trump wrote.

The president noted the Hur Report, which he claimed “revealed that Biden suffers from ‘poor memory’ and, even in his ‘prime,’ could not be trusted with sensitive information,” according to the post.

Trump said he will always protect National Security.

“JOE, YOU’RE FIRED. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN,” he wrote.

Mavericks GM getting boost in security for first home game since Luka Dončić trade after death threats: report

The Dallas Mavericks will play their first home game since the organization traded Luka Dončić Saturday, and general manager Nico Harrison will be on alert.

The trade took the entire sports world by surprise, and Mavs fans have made their displeasure known.

The anger is understandable. A 25-year-old global superstar who led the NBA in scoring last year and helped the Mavs to an NBA Finals appearance was traded away.

Protests took place outside American Airlines Center Sunday, with one group of fans even bringing a casket to signify their fandom dying.

But other fans have apparently taken it to an unacceptable level and have made death threats against Harrison.

According to ESPN, that has led to “beefed up” security for Harrison for Saturday’s game.

“This is a heartbroken fan base. There have been some very unfortunate developments regarding that anger. Nico Harrison has been subjected to death threats. There have been racial epithets included in some of those. Certainly, security is going to be beefed up. There will be protests outside the arena,” Tim McMahon said on Friday.

“Nico Harrison is not going to be in his normal seat. There’s no reason to subject him to that kind of security risk. That has been an unfortunate part of this storyline. Obviously, the fans’ anger, they have every right to feel like they got a generational superstar ripped away from them, but, certainly, lines have been crossed.”

Harrison cited defense as a primary reason for the trade, while also noting the risk Dončić, eligible for a $345 million contract, could have left the team next year.

“We really feel like we got ahead of what was going to be a tumultuous summer, him being eligible for the supermax and also a year away from him being able to opt out of any contract,” Harrison said earlier this week. “And so we really felt like we got out in front of that. We know teams, they’ve had it out there, teams have been loading up to try to sign him once that comes available.”

The Lakers acquired Dončić, Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris, while the Mavericks got Anthony Davis, Max Christie and Los Angeles’ 2029 first-round pick. To complete the deal, the Utah Jazz acquired Jalen Hood-Schifino and two second-round picks.

In the Mavs’ first game without Dončić, they lost by over 40 points, but neither Kyrie Irving nor Davis played.

Maxine Waters, House Dems ripped for ‘unhinged’ clash with security guard at Education Dept

Conservatives on social media blasted Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., after she and other Democrats protesting President Donald Trump attempted to enter the Department of Education building in Washington, D.C., while accosting a security guard in the process.

Thirty House Democrats attempted to enter the Department of Education building on Friday morning to meet with acting Education Secretary Denise L. Carter regarding Trump’s plans to significantly downsize or even eliminate the department, but they were stopped by security.

Video of the Democrats attempting to convince the visibly uninterested security guard to let them in quickly spread on social media, sparking strong pushback from conservatives.

Waters and other Democrats could be seen on video berating the security guard, repeatedly asking for his ID, and telling him to look at the camera, so viewers could see his face.

“This is hilarious,” author Justin Hart posted on X. “The Democrats have octagenarians going around town trying to intimidate federal workers for some reason or another.”

“Absolutely pathetic theater from House Democrats at the Department of Education, down to claiming the security officer is a modern day police officer in the Deep South blocking school integration,” Newsbusters managing editor Curtis Houck posted on X.

“The quote at the end is my favorite,” Daily Signal investigative columnist Tony Kinnett posted on X. “Three years ago, Democrats wanted to hear NOTHING from parents concerned about their kids’ schools. They sent the FBI after parents. Now they’re claiming to represent them. Hilarious.”

“I can’t stop watching this,” Congressional Leadership Fund Communications Director Torunn Sinclair posted on X. “It’s so funny. Democrats are floundering.”

“Unhinged Maxine Waters is annoying AF,” White House Communications Director Steven Cheung posted on X. “This deranged behavior is like a scene ripped straight out of Flowers in the Attic.”

“Trump has completely broken the Democrat party,” Outkick founder Clay Travis posted on X. “They are in total shambles.”

Fox News Digital reached out to Waters’ office for comment.

An aide made it inside the building and explained to security that lawmakers were there. Members then tried to go inside the building, and at that point, the doors were locked, Fox News was told.

The Nation’s Report Card, which assesses how American students are performing in various subjects, showed seven out of 10 fourth graders are not proficient readers, which is a worse score than the last report card in 2022. The report card noted that reading scores showed “no significant change” since 1992.

Former Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, who served in Trump’s first administration, slammed the department and called for a revamp in an opinion piece.

“A complete reset begins with ending the failed experiment resident in the Department of Education. The bureaucrats have focused on mandating DEI, when students needed the focus to be on ABC and 123,” DeVos wrote. “President Trump and Congress should take their corrosive power away and instead block grant all necessary education funding directly to the states.”

On the campaign trail, Trump suggested several times that eliminating the department entirely was on the table.

“One thing I’ll be doing very early in the administration is closing up the Department of Education in Washington, D.C., and sending all education and education work it needs back to the states,” Trump said in a 2023 campaign video.

Attorney General Pam Bondi to travel to New Orleans to survey Super Bowl LIX security

Pam Bondi will spend her first full day as U.S. attorney general Thursday traveling to New Orleans to survey security of the Super Bowl game this Sunday, Fox News has learned.

Her trip is part of an effort to highlight the administration’s broader commitment to crack down on violent crime and acts of terrorism.

Bondi will be accompanied by Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry, the Justice Department said, where she will meet with multiple law enforcement groups at the federal and local level, including DOJ components and the FBI field office.

Her visit comes less than two months after a man used a vehicle to ram through crowds on Bourbon Street in New Orleans early New Year’s Day, killing at least 14 people and injuring more than 30 others in what FBI officials said was being investigated as an act of terrorism.

While in New Orleans, Bondi plans to conduct briefings during the visit related to preventing another terrorist attack in New Orleans, DOJ officials told Fox News.

The visit comes as Bondi looks to move on her Day One prioritie— among them, cracking down on terrorist-linked or inspired attacks on U.S. soil.

In a statement Tuesday night, Grassley said attempts by top Judiciary Democrat Dick Durbin, Ill., and others to force Patel to testify again were “basesless” as he’d already sat before the committee for more than five hours and disclosed “thousands of pages” of records to the panel, as well as nearly 150 pages of responses to lawmakers’ written questions.

Social Security saves big bucks by axing ‘X’ gender marker

Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., tells ‘The Evening Edit’ how she pushed back against reporters in defense of her resolution that would bar men who identify as women from using women’s bathrooms on Capitol Hill.

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) announced Wednesday that the Social Security Administration’s move to terminate a contract dealing with the “Gender X” marker on public-facing applications will save over $1 million in taxpayer funds.

“The Social Security Administration has terminated its contract for the “Gender X initiative marker” and removed all references to gender ideology from public-facing applications,” DOGE wrote on X. “This saves > $1M and is in accordance with the President’s Executive Order…”

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on his first day in office aimed at shifting the language used by the federal government in documentation, including a move to replace the term “gender” with “sex” on official documents.

“The erasure of sex in language and policy has a corrosive impact not just on women but on the validity of the entire American system,” the order signed by Trump states. “Basing Federal policy on truth is critical to scientific inquiry, public safety, morale, and trust in government itself.”

The move also reversed changes made during the Biden administration, including giving Americans who do not identify with either of the two biological sexes the option to mark documents such as passports with an “X” instead of “male” or “female.”

Late last month, the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services were told not to make a final decision on any application that would produce a document with an “X” marker for gender.

Social Security appears to be the next agency to make modifications when it comes to a person identifying sex on an application.

After learning of the savings, Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C. weighed in on X.

“$1,000,000 people,” she wrote. “Government waste at its finest- and this is just the tip of the iceberg.”

Trump vows Homeland Security will prevent transgender athletes from entering the country for 2028 LA Olympics

President Donald Trump signed an executive order banning transgender athletes from competing in girls and women’s sports Wednesday and vowed the order will also apply to border security for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

During Trump’s ceremony at the White House to sign the executive order, he announced that Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem will prohibit any transgender athletes attempting to compete as women from entering the country for the Olympics in 2028.

Trump said he will instruct Noem “to deny any and all visa applications made by men attempting to fraudulently enter the United States while identifying themselves as women athletes try and get into the Games.”

Earlier Wednesday, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said part of the motivation behind Trump’s executive order would be to create a “pressure campaign” for the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and NCAA to follow and prevent transgender athletes from competing in women’s sports.

“He does expect the Olympic committee and the NCAA to no longer allow men to compete in women’s sports,” Leavitt said. “I think the president, with the signing of his pen, starts a very public pressure campaign on these organizations to do the right thing for women and for girls.

“Again, this is an incredibly popular position. There have been many notable female athletes who have had the courage to speak out against some very powerful institutions in this country. They deserve to have a voice and a say. The president is bringing their voice to the highest level of the White House. He expects these organizations to comply with this federal executive order he will be signing today.”

HOW TRANSGENDERISM IN SPORTS SHIFTED THE 2024 ELECTION AND IGNITED A NATIONAL COUNTERCULTURE

There was controversy surrounding gender eligibility at the Paris Olympics in July and August.

Boxers Imane Khelif of Algeria and Lin Yu-ting of Taiwan won gold medals in women’s boxing. Both athletes had previously been disqualified from international competitions for failing gender eligibility tests. However, the IOC and current President Thomas Bach voiced support for both athletes. The IOC also insisted that both athletes were biologically female.

Before that, Laurel Hubbard, a transgender woman, competed in weightlifting for the New Zealand team, and Canadian soccer player Quinn came out as nonbinary and transgender in 2020.

With Bach preparing to leave office later this year, the IOC’s next president could help carry out Trump’s vision on the issue more cooperatively.

Former British Olympic champion Sebastian Coe is a candidate to be the next IOC president and has suggested he will take action to prevent transgender inclusion in women’s events.

Coe published a manifesto for his vision as IOC president as he campaigns for the position, and it stressed the importance of protecting female athletes.

Unlike Bach, Coe opposes transgender inclusion in the women’s category and said he would explore a complete ban on transgender athletes in an interview with Sky News.

“We will have a very clear policy that will be unambiguous,” Coe said. “We’ve been very clear in World Athletics that transgender athletes will not be competing in the female category at the elite level.”

Coe is the current head of World Athletics, the governing body for international track and field competition. In 2023, the governing body tightened its regulations on transgender athletes to exclude transgender women who have gone through male puberty from competing in the female category. That regulation also lowered the maximum testosterone level for eligible female competitors.

Coe said if he becomes IOC president, the new Olympic policy on transgender inclusion will “probably” reflect the one he has established in World Athletics. Coe has also said the controversy surrounding Khelif and Yu-ting made him feel “uncomfortable.”

The United Nations released study findings saying that nearly 900 biological females have fallen short of winning medals because they lost to transgender athletes.

The study, “Violence against women and girls in sports,” said more than 600 athletes did not medal in more than 400 competitions in 29 different sports, totaling over 890 medals, according to information obtained up to March 30.

“The replacement of the female sports category with a mixed-sex category has resulted in an increasing number of female athletes losing opportunities, including medals, when competing against males,” the report said.

Biden gave Trump new mission on border security and immigration, expert says

Much of President Donald Trump’s immigration and border security agenda has been driven by the actions of former President Joe Biden, causing Trump to take even more steps during his second term in the White House.

“What Biden did, I’d say, is the primary cause of the open borders and the millions he led in, including the bad actors who came along with them,” Lora Ries, director of the Heritage Foundation’s Border Security and Immigration Center, told Fox News Digital. “It requires quick and drastic steps to stop the flow and find those people and get them out of the country.”

The comments come as Trump has unleashed a slew of new orders related to immigration and border security during his first two weeks in office, introducing new ideas such as seeking to end birthright citizenship.

According to Ries, many of Trump’s early actions on immigration were aimed at returning to the policies of his first administration. Others, Ries said, were a direct reaction to policies implemented during the previous administration.

“Ending mass parole, ending the CBP mobile one application,” Ries used as an example, two policies implemented under Biden that Trump quickly ended upon reentering the White House.

But Ries also argued that Trump has taken a more aggressive approach to the issue than he did when entering office in 2017, noting that some of the orders were not tried in 2017 or are a reaction to a Biden policy.

“Suspending the U.S. refugee admissions program, birthright citizenship… creating a Homeland Security task force in all 50 states for intel and logistics,” Ries listed as examples of new ideas brought by Trump in his second term in office.

Ries also noted that Trump took the step of requiring all aliens to register, something allowed under current immigration statutes that will likely help with enforcement.

“We have no idea who is all here, how many people… so requiring them to register with DHS is a smart move,” Ries said.

Yet there is still more work for Trump to do as he continues his push for reform, Ries argued, including pausing funds for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) from the Department of Health and Human Services and the State Department.

Ries also mentioned that Trump could still work to clear the backlog of immigration cases at the Department of Homeland Security and the Justice Department, where over 13 million combined cases are pending.

“Getting those down to a manageable level year after year, and I had proposed in a report I put out in December that if the backlog gets too high, pausing intake of applications until the backlog gets down to a manageable level.”

“Then the other still needed is more on the unaccompanied alien children front. I think he could declare an emergency regarding the missing children and the sex trafficking,” Ries added. “Working to find those kids, but also pursuing the first part of the law that says it should be the policy to return children back to their home country versus bringing them in and giving them immigration benefits.”

But Ries also noted there are limitations to what Trump can do through executive action, arguing that Congress will need to “step in” on some issues.

“Congress needs to very quickly, drastically fund increased resources for ICE to continue detaining… ICE needs at least 100,000 beds,” Ries said. “Congress also needs to close all the loopholes that the Biden administration exploited if we want long-term integrity around this. Otherwise, the next Democrat president will issue executive orders to undo all this.”

OpenAI announces US National Laboratories partnership, plans to support work on nuclear security and more

OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, has announced an agreement to collaborate with U.S. National Laboratories, indicating that it plans to assist in various fields, including nuclear security.

The company plans to deploy its AI on a supercomputer.

“Under this agreement, OpenAI will work with Microsoft and will deploy o1 or another o-series model on Venado, an NVIDIA supercomputer at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) where it will be a shared resource for researchers from Los Alamos, Lawrence Livermore, and Sandia National Labs,” OpenAI noted.

The company said its models will be used in “Accelerating the basic science that underpins U.S. global technological leadership,” “Identifying new approaches to treating and preventing disease,” “Enhancing cybersecurity and protecting the American power grid,” “Achieving a new era of U.S. energy leadership by unlocking the full potential of natural resources and revolutionizing the nation’s energy infrastructure,” “Improving U.S. security through improved detection of natural and man-made threats, such as biology and cyber, before they emerge,” and “Deepening our understanding of the forces that govern the universe, from fundamental mathematics to high-energy physics.”

OpenAI noted that the partnership “builds on our successful earlier collaboration⁠ with Los Alamos National Laboratory, where we worked closely with wet labs to assess the risks posed by the most advanced models in creating bioweapons (such as human-designed pandemics). We anticipate that this engagement will lead to broader safety collaborations across a variety of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) risks.”
