  • Puka Nacua ‘hoping for the best’ after Cooper Kupp said Rams will try to trade him

Puka Nacua ‘hoping for the best’ after Cooper Kupp said Rams will try to trade him

Cooper Kupp earlier this week broke the news that he had been informed he is now on the trade block.

Apparently, it is a matter of when, not if, the Los Angeles Rams will trade the 2021 receiving Triple Crown winner, as Kupp said the team will look to trade him “immediately.”

After his OPOY-winning season, Kupp has been riddled with injuries, having yet to play more than 12 games in his last three seasons and not crossing the 1,000-yard threshold.

Kupp was a third-round pick by the Rams in 2017, so it’s surely odd to think of him elsewhere, but that appears to be the likelihood.

The Rams may be just fine with the emergence of Puka Nacua, but the 2023 Offensive Rookie of the Year would still be losing his counterpart.

“I love that guy Coop. I’m blessed to be around him the past two years for the start of my career,” Nacus told Fox News Digital down in New Orleans. “I’ll be super excited to watch Cooper Kupp back out there on the field and play the game of football. He does that at such a high level and does it the right way. I love that guy and hoping for the best.”

Kupp made the announcement on social media earlier this week.

“I was informed that the team will be seeking a trade immediately and will be working with me and my family to find the right place to continue competing for championships. I don’t agree with the decision and always believed it was going to begin and end in LA.,” he wrote.

“Still, if there’s one thing that I have learned over the years: there are so many things that are out of your control, but it is how you respond to these things that you will look back on and remember.

Matthew Stafford’s wife sounds off on Rams amid speculation about quarterback’s future, Cooper Kupp trade news

Uncertainty and an apparent lack of appreciation in Los Angeles have Kelly Stafford, the wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, apparently open to the idea of moving on.

During the latest episode of her podcast “The Morning After,” Kelly sounded off on the speculation surrounding her husband and the recent news that the Rams have allegedly expressed their intentions to trade veteran wide receiver Cooper Kupp this offseason.

Kupp announced Monday on social media that he was informed by the organization that they “will be seeking a trade immediately and will be working with me and my family to find the right place to continue competing for championships.”

Kupp expressed that the move was not one he agreed with.

“I don’t agree with the decision and always believed it was going to begin and end in LA,” his post read. “Still, if there’s one thing that I have learned over the years: there are so many things that are out of your control, but it is how you respond to these things that you will look back on and remember.”

Stafford’s future also remains a question this offseason.

After losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in the playoffs, he said he would “take some time” to decide his plan for next season, but also indicated he feels like he can still play.

But since those remarks were made, his wife Kelly seemed to suggest tensions between the Rams and Stafford have been on the rise.

“I love the life that we have built here. With that being said, I love an adventure. I am all for it. Right now, if the Rams decided that they wanted to trade [Stafford], or Matthew decided he didn’t want to play for the Rams, I’m good,” she shared.

Kelly said “the ball is not really in our court” regarding that decision.

“I value being respected and wanted over convenience. So it would be very convenient to stay. Right? Very easy. But if someone doesn’t feel valued, then I’m like ‘Let’s hit the road. Let’s go on an adventure,’” she explained.

“Do we want to be in L.A.? Yeah, but a lot has to happen,” she continued. “My husband wants to win. He’s not trying to put a team in a bad situation. If you’re catching my drift, you’re catching my drift. He wants to win, he’s at the end of his career – wants to win. But there has to be a slight feeling of being valued and respected.”

Kelly was also put off by Kupp’s announcement. She said she was “confused” by the trade rumors after the Rams fell short of the NFC Championship game this season.

“I will say the trading away of Cooper – I guess I’m just a little confused because we were one play away from going to the NFC Championship. And I think if we go, we win. Then you’re in the Super Bowl, and I think we have a chance against Kansas City,” she said.

“One play away, and all of a sudden in the offseason, you’re talking about trading your veteran wide receiver, who has been a pillar in this place… and there’s now talk about trading your quarterback away. I don’t get it, it confuses me.”

  • Eagles sell dirty snow from playoff game vs. Rams to fans for , and it sells out in hours

Eagles sell dirty snow from playoff game vs. Rams to fans for $50, and it sells out in hours

The Philadelphia Eagles attempted to make money by selling cartons of snow for $50 each to their fans, and it worked.

The team is officially sold out of pints of memorabilia snow at Lincoln Financial Field during the playoff game against the Los Angeles Rams last Sunday. The Eagles won the game 28-22 in snowy conditions to advance to the NFC Championship game, so the team memorialized the snow by collecting it, putting it into ice-cream style pints and selling it for the $50 price tag.

It sold out in less than three hours.

The game had a recorded attendance of 69,879. Many of those fans could have simply taken the snow at the stadium with them for free.

The conditions of the game are believed to have played a role in the result and have benefited the Eagles, as Rams players committed multiple drops, fumbles and incomplete passes that appeared to be impacted by the snow.

The team claims their snow is the first-ever authenticated snow collectible tied to an NFL playoff win and “sets a new standard in the world of sports.”

“The Philadelphia Eagles’ divisional-round victory over the Los Angeles Rams on January 19, 2025, will forever be remembered for being a snow covered victory!” the product description on the team’s website read.

“To commemorate this incredible achievement, authenticated snow was collected directly from the end zone at Lincoln Financial Field immediately after the game. This isn’t your typical piece of memorabilia—it’s a tangible, frozen snapshot of the grit, passion, and determination that defined the iconic game. By preserving and authenticating the very snow that surrounded this monumental game, fans are offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to connect with the playoff experience like never before.”

While the Eagles organization has monetized snow, the fans have a reputation for weaponizing it.

Former Dallas Cowboys star linebacker DeMarcus Ware told Fox News Digital that Eagles fans once hurled snowballs stuffed with batteries at his mother during a game his rookie year in 2005.

“My rookie season when my mom was in the stands, I told her not to wear my jersey, and she was in the front row, and we’re up there in Philly. They were putting batteries in snowballs and throwing them, and one of them hit my mom,” Ware said. “I turned around at the time, and I didn’t care about football anymore. I wanted to go get the guy who was in the stands. But I didn’t.”

Los Angeles Rams defensive end Jared Verse says Eagles fans hurled snowballs at him after Sunday’s game after he made comments about “hating” the fans to reporters in the week leading up to the game.

“After the game, I was walking into the locker room, and they’re throwing snowballs,” Verse told The Philadelphia Inquirer.

In 1968, when a man dressed as Santa Claus walked out onto the field. He was booed relentlessly by fans who were upset about a disappointing season and hurled snowballs at him as well.

Eagles fans have garnered negative national attention in recent weeks after one of their own, New Jersey man Ryan Caldwell, was seen in a viral video verbally berating a woman with vulgur slurs during the team’s first playoff game against the Green Bay Packers on Jan. 12.

Matthew Stafford’s wife reveals Rams quarterback played through significant rib injury in playoff loss

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford played hurt in the team’s 28-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday.

Stafford’s wife, Kelly, revealed the star quarterback had been playing through an injury since Week 15.

“It was against San Fran. We all know how tough Matthew is, and people don’t realize just how tough he is because he doesn’t really tell anyone what’s going on.

“He got hit in San Fran … (and) that night came home and was like, ‘Yeah I think I cracked my ribs,’” Kelly said during a recent episode of “The Morning After with Kelly Stafford and Hank.”

“And he did. He cracked four ribs but just didn’t really let anyone in to know really much about it. Continued his everyday process like nothing was wrong, would come home and be miserable.”

Despite the four cracked ribs and less than ideal weather conditions, Stafford completed nearly 60% of his passes while throwing for 324 yards and two touchdowns.

Kelly said her brother, Chad, hugged Matthew after the loss, and the quarterback wheezed and bent over in pain due to his cracked ribs.
