The third edition of FanDuel’s “Kick of Destiny” was back on Sunday, but it featured new faces in this go-round.

After Rob Gronkowski’s leg determined whether fans would receive a share of millions in bonus bets, this time, it was Peyton and Eli Manning’s turns.

The older brother Peyton was up first for a 25-yard kick, and his first attempt hooked left and never came close.

Eli then just needed to make his kick for the victory, but somehow, he managed to miss worse than his brother, coming up way short.

Peyton had a chance for redemption, this time from just 20 yards out. However, he doinked it off the right upright.

The New York Giants legend lined up for his 20-yarder as chants of “Eli” rang from the crowd, and it was, as Giants announcer Bob Papa would say, true blue.

Eli drilled the kick right down the middle with plenty to spare.

“This feels unbelievable. We earned this moment. I was grinding, been working so hard, and finally, to be a kicker, it just feels right,” Manning said, adding that he pulled a muscle in the competition.

Trump-era southern border sees migrant encounters plummet by over 60% as new policies kick in

EXCLUSIVE: The number of migrants arriving at the southern border has dropped by over 60% since President Donald Trump took office last week, new data obtained by Fox News Digital shows.

There were 7,287 migrant encounters at the southern border in the first seven days (Jan 20-26) after Trump’s inauguration by both Border Patrol between ports of entry and by the Office of Field Operations (OFO) at ports of entry, with a daily average of 1,041 encounters a day.

That compares to 20,086 encounters in the seven days in the final days of the Biden administration (Jan 13-19) prior to Trump’s inauguration, averaging 2,869 encounters a day.

That equals more than a 63% decrease in the number of encounters at the southern border.

President Trump entered office last week and immediately declared a national emergency at the southern border, and ordered the expulsion of migrants without the possibility of asylum.

He also shut down the Biden-era use of the CBP One app that allows migrants to schedule appointments at ports of entry so they can be allowed into the U.S. via humanitarian parole. The numbers suggest that the moves are having an impact at both the ports of entry and for those crossing illegally.

Fox News reported on Monday that fewer than 600 people crossed illegally into the U.S. on Sunday, and that not a single of the nine sectors received more than 200 illegal crossings. The Del Rio sector – which is the same sector that would sustain over 4,000 crossings per day during the height of the border crisis in December 2023 – only recorded 60 crossings.

Separately, his administration has launched a mass deportation program, quickly racking up daily arrests of more than 1,000 as raids take place in sanctuary cities including Boston and New York City.

Chiefs’ Drue Tranquill tells critics to ‘kick rocks’ amid avalanche of complaints over team’s AFC title win

Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Drue Tranquill had no time for critics who used officiating as a catalyst for the team’s AFC Championship win or those who complained about the team making the Super Bowl for the third consecutive time.

Tranquill had nine tackles in the Chiefs’ 32-29 win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night, but as NFL fans complained about this and that, Tranquil responded.

He also had words for former NFL player Will Compton and Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy.

Tranquill is a veteran linebacker who started his career with the Los Angeles Chargers. He joined the Chiefs before the start of the 2023 season and was a part of the defense that guided Kansas City to a Super Bowl title over the San Francisco 49ers last season.

Entering the 2024 season, he became the team’s starter. He played in 16 of the team’s 17 games. He had 94 tackles, two sacks, two pass break-ups and two fumble recoveries. The Chiefs were fourth in points allowed and ninth in yards allowed this season.

Kansas City allowed at least 30 points twice this season – to the Bills and the Denver Broncos. Both games were in the regular season and both resulted in the team’s only two losses.

Additionally, Tranquill has 14 tackles in the two games the Chiefs have played in the postseason so far.
