Eagles star CJ Gardner-Johnson delivers crude message to Taylor Swift fans at Super Bowl parade

Philadelphia Eagles safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson might have had the final say in a back-and-forth with Taylor Swift fans.

Arriving in Philadelphia for the Eagles’ Super Bowl parade on Friday, the NFL player went on Instagram Live to show off his custom hoodie.

The shirt, directed at loyal fans of the global pop star, read, “Swifties can LIX my b—s.”

The dig at fans comes after Gardner-Johnson took aim at Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his relationship with Swift after the Eagles routed the Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday.

Gardner-Johnson took to Instagram and posted a photo of himself and Kelce on the field with a caption that read, “Should’ve stayed w that thick s***.”

The Instagram Story seemingly referenced Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole, in comparison to Swift.

NFL FANS INTERVENE AFTER RESTAURANT OWNED BY EAGLES’ CJ GARDNER-JOHNSON’S MOM HIT BY UNWARRANTED BAD REVIEWS

Swifties reacted by flooding Google and Yelp with poor reviews for a restaurant owned by Gardner-Johnson’s mom.

“I have friends who were sending me the screenshots,” Delatron Johnson told TMZ Sports. “They were going, ‘Oh my god, look at this!’ And the first thing everyone said was, ‘the Swifties have attacked.’”

Johnson said the restaurant that fans were spamming was her old restaurant, which is now closed.

The unfavorable reviews were later removed, and Yelp placed an “unusual activity alert” on the restaurant’s page which “temporarily disabled the posting of content.”

Some NFL fans tried to counter the negative reviews by posting good reviews of Johnson’s establishment.

Team USA star Matthew Tkachuk delivers stern one-liner after Canadian fans boo during American national anthem

Team USA heard the boos loud and clear, and they weren’t happy about it.

When they took the ice ahead of their matchup against Finland in the 4 Nations Face-Off on Thursday night, they were vociferously booed by the Canadian fans.

The booing continued during the “Star-Spangled Banner,” as fans disregarded the request from the public address announcer asking fans to respect the United States and Finnish anthems.

“I didn’t like it. That’s all I got,” Team USA star Matthew Tkachuk said postgame.

And Tkachuk played like someone who didn’t like it.

Tkachuk scored two goals in Team USA’s 6-1 win. It was 2-1 going into the third period before Team USA erupted for four goals in the third period to break the game open.

Tkachuk recently spoke about how “grateful” he is to be American during a visit to the White House.

Tkachuk was part of the Florida Panthers Stanley Cup winning team last season. He spoke at the White House while the team was celebrating the victory with President Donald Trump.

“Thank you, Mr. President, for having us today. We greatly appreciate it. Being one of the few Americans, who loves this country so much, it’s such an incredible day for myself. You wake up every day really grateful to be an American. So, thank you,” Tkachuk said.

Since Trump’s threat to issue tariffs on Canada and even saying that the country could become the “51st state,” it has been common for boos to be heard during the USA’s national anthem.

Both Toronto Raptors and Ottawa Senators fans have booed the USA’s national anthem, since the tariffs were set to begin.

Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke via phone last week just before additional 25% tariffs were to take effect on Canadian goods coming into the United States.

Trudeau said that Canada will implement a $1.3 billion border plan and appoint a fentanyl czar, in a post to X.

Trump had promised to impose a 25% tariff on all Canadian and Mexican goods, as well as a 10% tariff on Canadian energy, as he has long said the countries have not done enough at the borders.

Trump said Mexico and Canada have failed to prevent the flow of illegal migrants and drugs, particularly fentanyl, into the United States. Trump also claims that the United States has subsidized Canada to the tune of $200 billion.

Team Canada and Team USA are the two favorites in the 4 Nations Face-Off and are set to play each for the first time on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET in Montreal.

Canada won their first game, holding on against Sweden in a 4-3 overtime victory on Wednesday.

Considering the bitter hockey rivalry between the two countries and the political dissension from Canada’s fans toward the U.S. right now, the booing could be thunderous during the “Star-Spangled Banner” on Saturday.

‘Serious consequences’: Ted Cruz delivers strong warning to illegal immigrants fleeing Border Patrol

FIRST ON FOX: Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, is launching a new push to target illegal immigrants who flee from law enforcement — named after a Border Patrol agent killed pursuing illegal aliens.

Cruz is reintroducing the Senate version of the Agent Raul Gonzalez Officer Safety Act.

The bill is named after Border Patrol Agent Raul Gonzalez, who was killed in a vehicle crash in Texas in 2022 while pursuing illegal immigrants. The bill would make failure to yield to a Border Patrol agent a felony punishable by up to two years in prison.

If a Border Patrol agent sustains injuries during a vehicle pursuit of an illegal migrant, the offender may receive a sentence ranging from a minimum of five years to a maximum of 20 years in prison. In cases where an agent loses their life during the pursuit, the bill prescribes a minimum sentence of 10 years in prison, extending to a potential life sentence. Each of these offenses also may carry a fine of up to $250,000.

It further requires that the Department of Justice report to Congress about how often they are prosecuting illegal aliens for endangering Border Patrol agents.

“This legislation honors the sacrifice of Agent Raul Gonzalez, Jr., who lost his life pursuing individuals evading capture,” Cruz said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

“It sends a clear message that if you endanger American lives, you will face serious consequences,” he said. “This bill is a critical step toward protecting our communities and ensuring criminals can no longer exploit past failures.”

The bill has been reintroduced in the House by Rep. Juan Ciscomani, R-Ariz.

It’s one of a slew of bills being introduced or re-introduced in Congress now that there is GOP control of both chambers and a new mood in Washington that appears to be more receptive of stiffer consequences for illegal immigration, with the Trump administration launching a massive border security and anti-illegal immigration crackdown.

Congress passed the Laken Riley Act in January, which mandates the federal detention of illegal immigrants accused of theft-related offenses. President Donald Trump would sign the bill later in January.

Cruz, meanwhile, reintroduced the “Justice for Jocelyn” Act, which would require that every ICE detention bed be filled before any releases of illegal immigrants into the interior. It is named after Jocelyn Nungaray, who was allegedly murdered by two illegal immigrants.

Jets’ new coach Aaron Glenn delivers fiery message to NFL: ‘We’re built for this s—‘

Aaron Glenn, the New York Jets’ newest head coach, brought electricity to his introductory press conference on Monday as he’s set to lead the franchise on the sideline for the next few years.

Glenn was hired after he spent time as a defensive coordinator with the Detroit Lions. Despite a ton of injuries to the Lions’ defense this season, the team still managed to win the NFC North and earn the No. 1 seed in the playoffs before getting upset by the Washington Commanders.

He is the Jets’ fourth head coach following the departure of Rex Ryan after the 2014 season. Ryan’s Jets were the last iteration of the team to earn a playoff spot. Todd Bowles, Adam Gase and Robert Saleh have since come and gone with only one season finishing over .500 — in 2015.

Glenn has a certain experience the previous field generals don’t have — he played for them.

Glenn starred as a Jets cornerback from 1994 to 2001. He was a Pro Bowler twice in that span. He also played for the Houston Texans, Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars and New Orleans Saints before he retired after the 2008 season.

“Put your seatbelts on and get ready for the ride. Listen, there are gonna be some challenges, but with challenges gets opportunity. Here’s what I do know. We’re the freakin’ New York Jets and we’re built for this s—,” Glenn said, via the New York Post.

“I wanted this job. I interviewed for a number of them, but I wanted this job,” he added. “… I didn’t want to leave the building without shaking Woody [Johnson’s] hand and making sure we had a contract. So I’m just telling you now, everything else was already out of it. It was all about the Jets and it’s been that way from the beginning.”

The fiery message now has to be backed up on the field.

Glenn and the front office will have to determine whether to bring back Aaron Rodgers and if they’re going to put Garrett Wilson on the trade block. Davante Adams has also floated the idea of playing elsewhere after New York acquired him from the Las Vegas Raiders.

Trump delivers Las Vegas speech about taxes on tips, promises to help workers

President Trump visited Las Vegas on Saturday afternoon to discuss his agenda for American workers, stressing a “no tax on tips” policy as the first week of his second term wraps up.

Speaking from the Circa Resort and Casino, Trump appealed to the myriad of hospitality workers in Sin City during his speech.

“Any worker who relies on tips [as] income, your tips will be 100% yours,” Trump said.

The Republican, who previously touted the policy as a 2024 campaign promise, also addressed Nevada Gov. Joe Lombardo during the speech and bluntly asked him about how important the issue was during the November election.

“You think that had an impact on the election?” Trump asked. “What, a half a point? It’s pretty big….nationwide over four million workers depend on tip income, including an estimated 700,000 single moms.”

“And here in Nevada…think of it, a quarter of the typical restaurant workers’ pay comes from tips. I didn’t know that,” Trump continued.

The president then addressed impacted workers as “some of the very citizens who were hit hard and very hard by the ravages of the Biden economy, which was inflation.”

“When I think of Biden, I think of incompetence and inflation,” Trump said of his former opponent, who left office on Monday.

Earlier this week, Trump said that he would visit Nevada to “thank” voters for electing him in the November election, as the Silver State historically votes blue.

“I’m going to Nevada, and I’m really going to thank Nevada for the vote because we won Nevada,” Trump said at the White House earlier this week. “That’s normally a Democratic vote and I just want to go there to thank Nevada for the vote.”

During Saturday’s speech, Trump also touted some of the promises his administration has already delivered on, including his dismantling of some federal diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices.

“We got rid of the woke crap,” Trump said to a cheering audience. “A lot of crap…you know, these people were petrified of it. I’ll tell you, these companies, they run these big companies, they were petrified of it.”
