Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift appeared to be shell-shocked at how Super Bowl LIX turned out on Sunday as the Kansas City Chiefs fell to the Philadelphia Eagles, 40-22.

One person from Kelce’s past was extremely pleased as she celebrated the Eagles’ win down on the field at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Kayla Nicole was on the field blowing green and white confetti around and talking with Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni after Philadelphia’s blowout win. She captioned one video, “They said there’s room on the wagon yall.”

She was at the Super Bowl on behalf of the “I AM ATHLETE” podcast.

Kelce and Nicole dated for about five years before they split in 2022. In November, she lamented in a podcast interview that she was not “as cool” with some of the other wives and girlfriends of Chiefs players as she once was.

She told Radar Online at the time that she is not as close with the other Chiefs wives and girlfriends as she once was.

“We are not as cool as we once were.,” she told the website, adding that the breakup was hard because of how close she was with some of the women.

It was not the first time Nicole has seemingly commented on her ex-boyfriend’s relationship.

Nicole talked about the comments she has received from Swift’s fans on her social media posts during an appearance on “Unapologetically Angel” with WNBA star Angel Reese.

“I would be lying if I said that that level of hate (from Swift’s fans) and just like online chaos doesn’t impact me, it does. Even to this day,” Nicole said.

Nicole said she still receives comments from Swift’s fans to this day.

Eagles’ Jalen Hurts celebrates Super Bowl LIX victory, MVP at Disney’s Magic Kingdom

Jalen Hurts went to Disney World.

The Philadelphia Eagles star quarterback, who was named Super Bowl LIX MVP, honored the tradition of going to Disney World on Monday. He was seen on a float riding around Magic Kingdom in the Main Street USA parade as the park was packed with Eagles fans.

Hurts had 221 passing yards, two passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown in Philadelphia’s 40-22 rout of the Kansas City Chiefs. For that, he was named MVP of the game.

The tradition of Super Bowl MVPs going to Disney World started in 1987 after the New York Giants defeated the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XXI. Phil Simms, who was the MVP of that game, was filmed in Disney’s “What’s Next?” commercial.

He is asked, “Phil Simms, you have just won the Super Bowl. What are you doing next?”

“I’m gonna go to Disney World,” he responded.

Hurts’ commercial featured his throw to Jahan Dotson in the first quarter, which was nearly a touchdown. Then, it showed the team’s tush push to get him into the end zone for the first score of the game. It also featured his bullseye pass to Devonta Smith for a touchdown.

“I’m going to Disney World!” Hurts said when asked what he was going to do next.

Hurts silenced the critics with his performance on Sunday. Philadelphia got to the Super Bowl two years ago and lost to the Chiefs in a game that Hurts played well in. Last season, Philly started 10-1 but struggled down the stretch and were bounced from the playoffs early.

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said the adversity Hurts faced in 2023 helped build momentum for his moment in 2024.

“Adversity has a tendency to bring you together,” he said. “I look back on last year and how last year ended, and I’m grateful. As crazy as it sounds, I’m grateful how last year ended because it shaped us to who we are today and where we’re standing today.”

Panthers’ Matthew Tkachuck ‘grateful to be an American’ as team celebrates Stanley Cup title with Trump

Florida Panthers star Matthew Tkachuk had a proud American moment at the White House on Monday as he and his team celebrated their Stanley Cup victory with President Donald Trump.

Tkachuk, who was one of six Americans on the championship-winning roster last season, was able to address the president during the celebration.

“Thank you, Mr. President, for having us today. We greatly appreciate it. Being one of the few Americans, who loves this country so much, it’s such an incredible day for myself. You wake up every day really grateful to be an American. So, thank you,” he said.

Tkachuk then told the president about how special the group of men behind him are. Florida appeared in the Stanley Cup Final for the second consecutive time last season and were able to finally get over the hump and win the trophy for the first time in franchise history.

“This team and this group of guys is special,” he added. “Everybody sees what we do on the ice, but I’ve built bonds with these guys that I’ll have for the rest of my life. I’m forever grateful for these guys. We’re forever champs, and I’ll always remember these guys.”

Tkachuk and Aleksander Barkov presented the president with a golden hockey stick and a Panthers sweater that read Trump and No. 47 on the back of it. Trump carried the stick out of the room as he and the team moved to the next event.

The Panthers acquired Tkachuk in a trade with the Calgary Flames before the 2022-23 season, and he has helped elevate Florida ever since.
