Snoop Dogg jokes about Bill Belichick’s girlfriend’s age during NFL Honors

Bill Belichick’s much-discussed romance with Jordon Hudson briefly took center stage during Thursday’s NFL Honors ceremony.

Belichick, 72, has been linked to the 24-year-old Hudson since 2023.

The couple attended the league’s annual award show and caught the attention of Snoop Dogg.

As the rapper and actor recalled when the Dallas Cowboys were “good” and the Kansas City Chiefs were “bad,” he addressed Hudson’s youth.

“I’ve been a football fan for a long, long time,” Snoop Dogg said during his monologue. “I mean, I remember back when the Cowboys was good. I remember back when the Chiefs was bad. And I remember, what was it — Bill Belichick’s girlfriend wasn’t even born yet?”

Cameras quickly panned to Hudson, who appeared shocked by the joke. Meanwhile, Belichick smiled as he lightly laughed.

The couple turned heads on the red carpet at the awards show. The North Carolina Tar Heels coach wore a red blazer and multiple Super Bowl rings, while Hudson showed off a silver dress and a large ring.

Speculation swirled that Hudson was wearing one of Belichick’s Super Bowl rings, but she later clarified she was wearing a national championship ring she won during her Bridgewater State University cheerleading career.

Hudson also explained that her silver dress was intended to be a nod to the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

“My antics often go over everyone’s head. … I chose this gown because it is reminiscent of a Lombardi Trophy,” she noted.

Thursday was not the first time Belichick heard jokes about his girlfriend’s age.

During Netflix’s “The Roast of Tom Brady” last year, Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady each took a jab at their former coach’s romantic life.

“Coach, you used to talk about Foxborough High School when we sucked,” Gronkowski said. “But now I know why you were so obsessed with Foxborough High School. You were scouting your new girlfriend.”

Brady followed up with his own ring-related joke.

“Everybody asks me which ring is my favorite. I used to say ‘the next one,’” Brady said. “But now that I am retired, my favorite Ring is the camera that caught Coach Belichick slinking out of that poor girl’s house a few months ago. Hey, you still got it. Respect baby.”

  • Matthew Stafford’s wife sounds off on Rams amid speculation about quarterback’s future, Cooper Kupp trade news

Matthew Stafford’s wife sounds off on Rams amid speculation about quarterback’s future, Cooper Kupp trade news

Uncertainty and an apparent lack of appreciation in Los Angeles have Kelly Stafford, the wife of Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, apparently open to the idea of moving on.

During the latest episode of her podcast “The Morning After,” Kelly sounded off on the speculation surrounding her husband and the recent news that the Rams have allegedly expressed their intentions to trade veteran wide receiver Cooper Kupp this offseason.

Kupp announced Monday on social media that he was informed by the organization that they “will be seeking a trade immediately and will be working with me and my family to find the right place to continue competing for championships.”

Kupp expressed that the move was not one he agreed with.

“I don’t agree with the decision and always believed it was going to begin and end in LA,” his post read. “Still, if there’s one thing that I have learned over the years: there are so many things that are out of your control, but it is how you respond to these things that you will look back on and remember.”

Stafford’s future also remains a question this offseason.

After losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in the playoffs, he said he would “take some time” to decide his plan for next season, but also indicated he feels like he can still play.

But since those remarks were made, his wife Kelly seemed to suggest tensions between the Rams and Stafford have been on the rise.

“I love the life that we have built here. With that being said, I love an adventure. I am all for it. Right now, if the Rams decided that they wanted to trade [Stafford], or Matthew decided he didn’t want to play for the Rams, I’m good,” she shared.

Kelly said “the ball is not really in our court” regarding that decision.

“I value being respected and wanted over convenience. So it would be very convenient to stay. Right? Very easy. But if someone doesn’t feel valued, then I’m like ‘Let’s hit the road. Let’s go on an adventure,’” she explained.

“Do we want to be in L.A.? Yeah, but a lot has to happen,” she continued. “My husband wants to win. He’s not trying to put a team in a bad situation. If you’re catching my drift, you’re catching my drift. He wants to win, he’s at the end of his career – wants to win. But there has to be a slight feeling of being valued and respected.”

Kelly was also put off by Kupp’s announcement. She said she was “confused” by the trade rumors after the Rams fell short of the NFC Championship game this season.

“I will say the trading away of Cooper – I guess I’m just a little confused because we were one play away from going to the NFC Championship. And I think if we go, we win. Then you’re in the Super Bowl, and I think we have a chance against Kansas City,” she said.

“One play away, and all of a sudden in the offseason, you’re talking about trading your veteran wide receiver, who has been a pillar in this place… and there’s now talk about trading your quarterback away. I don’t get it, it confuses me.”

Mavericks GM getting boost in security for first home game since Luka Dončić trade after death threats: report

The Dallas Mavericks will play their first home game since the organization traded Luka Dončić Saturday, and general manager Nico Harrison will be on alert.

The trade took the entire sports world by surprise, and Mavs fans have made their displeasure known.

The anger is understandable. A 25-year-old global superstar who led the NBA in scoring last year and helped the Mavs to an NBA Finals appearance was traded away.

Protests took place outside American Airlines Center Sunday, with one group of fans even bringing a casket to signify their fandom dying.

But other fans have apparently taken it to an unacceptable level and have made death threats against Harrison.

According to ESPN, that has led to “beefed up” security for Harrison for Saturday’s game.

“This is a heartbroken fan base. There have been some very unfortunate developments regarding that anger. Nico Harrison has been subjected to death threats. There have been racial epithets included in some of those. Certainly, security is going to be beefed up. There will be protests outside the arena,” Tim McMahon said on Friday.

“Nico Harrison is not going to be in his normal seat. There’s no reason to subject him to that kind of security risk. That has been an unfortunate part of this storyline. Obviously, the fans’ anger, they have every right to feel like they got a generational superstar ripped away from them, but, certainly, lines have been crossed.”

Harrison cited defense as a primary reason for the trade, while also noting the risk Dončić, eligible for a $345 million contract, could have left the team next year.

“We really feel like we got ahead of what was going to be a tumultuous summer, him being eligible for the supermax and also a year away from him being able to opt out of any contract,” Harrison said earlier this week. “And so we really felt like we got out in front of that. We know teams, they’ve had it out there, teams have been loading up to try to sign him once that comes available.”

The Lakers acquired Dončić, Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris, while the Mavericks got Anthony Davis, Max Christie and Los Angeles’ 2029 first-round pick. To complete the deal, the Utah Jazz acquired Jalen Hood-Schifino and two second-round picks.

In the Mavs’ first game without Dončić, they lost by over 40 points, but neither Kyrie Irving nor Davis played.

  • Hall of Fame voter says Eli Manning discussion was one of ‘most contentious’ ever among committee

Hall of Fame voter says Eli Manning discussion was one of ‘most contentious’ ever among committee

Eli Manning came up short of Pro Football Hall of Fame induction on Thursday night, and as a matter of fact, he wasn’t particularly close.

Manning was not inside the top 10 of voting for this year’s class, which features just four players: Jared Allen, Eric Allen, Antonio Gates and Sterling Sharpe.

The New York Giants legend has been a polarizing figure for the Hall of Fame, even well before he retired. On the one hand, he was never an All-Pro or got an MVP vote. On the other hand, he’s responsible for two of the greatest Super Bowl drives of all time, and he ranks 11th all time in passing yards and touchdowns.

So, when the committee met, Hall of Fame voter Gary Myers and another New York-based voter made their case, and Myers said the battles are hot.

“I’ve been on the committee for 15 years. Other than the Terrell Owens conversation that we had for three years, this was the most contentious discussion that I’ve been a part of,” Myers said Friday on ESPN New York’s “DiPietro and Rothenberg.”

“I knew there was going to be some anti-Eli sentiment . . . but I was really surprised at the amount of criticism and degrading his accomplishments that went on in that room.”

That criticism, Myers said, was apparent hypocrisy from the other voters.

“What they said, that the Giants defense won those two Super Bowls, but Eli was responsible for only having a .500 record. Voters wanted it both ways. They didn’t want to give Eli credit for beating the Patriots twice in the Super Bowl and having those two-minute drives. They wanted to put it all on the defense. But then, they wanted to say the reason he was 117-117 was because of him, not because it was a team game,” added Myers.

“My point was, you can’t wait away the credit for the Super Bowls but put the blame of the record on him. . . . To make it seem like the Giants go into those games with a shutdown defense and that Eli was along for the ride, I thought was really wrong.”

Myers also pointed to the fact that Plaxico Burress, who caught the Super Bowl XLII winning touchdown, shot himself in the leg the following season while Big Blue was threatening to go back-to-back with an 11-1 start. They lost in the divisional round that year. He also tried to argue that the front office decisions later in Manning’s career were not beneficial to the quarterback at all.

“His career would’ve looked a lot more differently if he got more support from his teammates, and more importantly, his front office,” Myers quipped.

Myers said he compared Manning to Warren Moon and Dan Fouts, who went 102-101 and 86-84-1, respectively, with zero Super Bowl appearances (Moon never even made a conference title game) and worse counting stats than Manning, mostly across the board, yet were inducted on the first ballot.

“His numbers are superior, and throw in he won two Super Bowl MVPs . . . then what are we doing here?”

It will be tougher for Manning to get in next season. The new rules state that only five people can be elected per year. Drew Brees, Larry Fitzgerald, Jason Witten and other ex-stars are eligible next year, all while Manning will have to beat out finalists from this year, including Luke Keuchly and Adam Vinatieri.

Bill Belichick’s girlfriend clarifies jewelry drama, reveals dress motivation

After not working in the NFL this season for the first time in nearly five decades, Bill Belichick had to remind everyone who the GOAT is.

Belichick attended the NFL Honors wearing all eight of his Super Bowl rings, but his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, was also showing off some jewelry of her own.

It was initially thought Hudson was wearing one of Belichick’s eight rings, six of which he won as Patriots head coach and two he won as Giants defensive coordinator.

However, Belichick was actually wearing all eight of his rings. The one ring Hudson was wearing, she said, was the national championship ring she won with the Bridgewater State University cheerleading team.

Hudson won the title as a member of the 2021 team, according to her Instagram bio. The team also won the national title in 2011, 2014, 2019, 2022, 2023 and 2024.

She also said she picked her silver dress for a reason.

“My antics often go over everyone’s head. … I chose this gown because it is reminiscent of a Lombardi Trophy,” Hudson revealed.

The couple attended Thursday night’s NFL Honors in New Orleans roughly two months after Belichick took the North Carolina head coaching job.

Belichick, 72, and the 24-year-old former cheerleader were first publicly linked last year, three years after meeting on a flight to Boston.

She attended Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony in June, shortly before reports surfaced she and Belichick had been dating.

Tom Brady speaks glowingly of his parents, gives advice on facing challenges

Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady spoke glowingly about his parents and provided great advice for young people who hope to follow in his footsteps one day.

FOX’s NFL lead analyst appeared on “Fox & Friends” and recalled a moment before Super Bowl LI against the Atlanta Falcons when he mentioned that his father, Tom Sr., was his hero. Brady was emotional when talking to reporters before that game, and he explained on Friday that his father was helping his mom, Galynn, go through breast cancer treatments at the time.

“I was so blessed to have a mom and dad that supported my athletic and career journey every step of the way, and, I had a great foundation about family and about commitment, support for one another,” Brady said. “At the time, my mom was battling breast cancer, and my dad was there supporting my mom through her treatments. And it was a very challenging time for our family.

“And I just think about my dad and the commitment that he’s made to her, to my sisters, to myself, to his grandkids. And, he’s the greatest man I’ve ever known. And I still feel that way. I try to make him proud in everything that I do. And, when you have an example like that, like I did with my dad, I can just take what he taught me and try to be that kind of dad that I am for my kids.”

Brady, throughout his career, set a high bar for himself to clear. He wasn’t the best player going from high school to college and was far from the best college football quarterback when he was at Michigan.

In the NFL, he was a sixth-round draft pick with very little professional expectations as he started as a backup to Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe. He may have even become a baseball player if he had wanted to, as the Montreal Expos selected him in the MLB Draft.

As he never wavered in his commitment to be the best, he said his parents never wavered either. It was the belief system they instilled in him that helped him believe in himself.

“I was just like a normal American kid that wanted to grow up and chase my dreams. And I would say my parents, they never kind of tempered my expectations for what I thought I could accomplish when I wanted to go to Michigan,” he said. “They didn’t think, ‘Oh, it might be too hard for you. You should probably pick a school where maybe you’re going to go play earlier, play a freshman.’ I always had this belief that I could do it, and my parents said the whole time, you could do it, absolutely.

“I was one of the slowest players at the NFL combine when I got drafted by the New England Patriots. And my mom, you say, honey, you are so fast. You get out there on that field and you can run. And certainly, I know I couldn’t. I said, mom, I love you. You’re very biased toward your own son,” he added. “But I think the reality is, there was never a plan B for me. I never had to deal with that. And I think they supported me.

“And I got to believe in myself, because you need people to believe in you, even when you don’t always have the most confidence in yourself. And if you’re surrounded by people that love you, that are there for you when you fail. Because the reality is, in life, when we try things that are very difficult, we do fail because they’re hard. And when they’re hard and you overcome them, you learn a lot about yourself. And if you can apply those things going forward to accomplish what you want, you’re going to gain a lot of self-esteem and a lot of self-confidence.

“I just felt that trying things that were outside of my comfort zone ended up being the best things in my life. And having parents that supported me when I did fail, that was the biggest blessing in my life.”

“Fox & Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade asked whether part of Brady’s success on the field was having the chip on his shoulder from being a sixth-round pick back in 2000.

    Brady said “absolutely.”

“I feel like overcoming those challenges and adversities that I had, whether it was in high school and college, allowed me to be the professional athlete that I was,” he said. “I learned a lot of things through failing that a lot of guys didn’t learn through high school and college because they were the best athletes. So, these sustainable qualities that you have as an athlete, like your work ethic, like your discipline, like your determination and competitiveness, those are what people would call into tangibles, because we can go measure physical strength or speed or all the things that are important, but in the end, they’re not sustainable over the course of a 23-year career.”

Brady lamented what top high school and college athletes are going through now with the advent of the transfer portal and name, image and likeness.

“And I look at what we’re doing to college kids and high school kids, and we make it so easy on them. Now, if you don’t like where you’re at, go somewhere else where you can play, and it goes from being, let’s say, college or high school, a transformational experience to a transactional experience,” he said. “And you’re always trying to transform yourself into something a little bit more, into a little bit better version of yourself. But when you make it easy on yourself, in the end, you’re doing yourself a disservice, because you’re not challenging yourself to get outside your comfort zone.

“And if you get outside your comfort zone, you’re going to realize like, ‘Oh man, I’m kind of on my own, but I’ve got people that support me, but how do I figure this out?’ And part of that figuring it out is to dig a little deeper within yourself and to develop a better work ethic, to be a little more bit more disciplined in what you’re doing and to be more determined to accomplish it every single day. And if you cheat that, in the end you cheat yourself, and you’re never going to accomplish your goals, you’re going to be settling for your plan B’s your entire life.”

Trump seems to declare Travis Kelce ‘best tight end’ even after Taylor Swift’s Biden, Harris endorsements

It’s safe to say the president is looking forward to the Super Bowl.

President Donald Trump is expected to attend the Super Bowl in New Orleans Sunday, the first time a sitting president will attend the big game.

He’s getting a great matchup too, with the Kansas City Chiefs looking become the first team to win three consecutive Lombardi Trophies.

On the other sideline will be the Philadelphia Eagles, who will be playing in their third Super Bowl in seven seasons. It’s a rematch from the Super Bowl two years ago, which Kansas City won 38-35.

Trump gave a quick preview of the game on Truth Social, praising the “two great quarterbacks,” Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts; “an unbelievable running back,” seemingly Saquon Barkley; and “incredible coaching” from Andy Reid and Nick Sirianni.

But Travis Kelce appeared to get the highest praise from Trump.

In the post, Trump appeared to suggest the longtime Chiefs star was the “best tight end in football (ever)” without actually mentioning him by name.

That’s high praise mere hours after Antonio Gates was voted into the Hall of Fame. It also would put Kelce ahead of Tony Gonzalez, Rob Gronkowski and Jason Witten, among others.

The praise comes despite Kelce’s girlfriend, pop star Taylor Swift, endorsing Kamala Harris before last year’s election. Swift also endorsed Joe Biden in 2020 in his race against Trump.

After Swift’s endorsement and Patrick Mahomes’ wife’s apparent support for the president, some wondered whether Brittney Mahomes and Swift’s friendship was over, but that has not appeared to be the case.

Kelce has not made his political leanings very public.

Oddsmaker says it is ‘an aberration’ that Vegas, NFL are in cahoots to benefit Chiefs

The consensus is that the Kansas City Chiefs have gotten the benefit of the whistle, but some have taken it a bit far.

Rob Gronkowski even admitted in a recent interview with Fox News Digital that he thought “something” was up with the officials.

But another about whether the NFL has been benefiting the Chiefs, which in turn is giving sportsbooks some extra money.

But that’s not happening, said one longtime oddsmaker.

“Not buying it. I just think it’s an aberration,” DraftKings director of sports operations Johnny Avello said in a recent interview with Fox News Digital.

Avello admitted that the Chiefs “have caught a couple of good calls and breaks for maybe the last half-year or so,” but sometimes, that’s just the way it goes.

“That’ll change at some point,” added Avello. “I don’t think the refs are doing anything intentionally, I just think that it’s happening and things are going their way.”

Avello did admit that the Chiefs provide an added popularity that would lead to more proposition bets.

“The case in point here is the Chiefs have Kelce, Kelce brings Taylor Swift, people see Taylor Swift, then all of a sudden, more people are interested in the NFL, and we start making props around Kelce and the whole team,” said Avello.

DraftKing’s rival in FanDuel even has “Swift Specials” where you could bet propositions that are named as several of Swift’s songs.

But at the end of the day, “I don’t think any teams are bigger than the game itself,” Avello said.

The Chiefs are currently 1.5-point favorites on DraftKings, a number that has not changed at all since it originally opened almost two weeks ago.

“Usually there’s some movement. . . . Nothing has moved on the side,” Avello said.

However, Avello noted that 70% of money and wagers were on the underdog Philadelphia Eagles.

“In normal circumstances, when you’re getting plus-money on such a small point spread, this is the betting of some bettors, ‘I don’t think a team is gonna win by one, so why am I going to take the 1.5? Might as well take the plus-money. That’s the rationale behind it,” Avello added.

But could people be using their Chiefs fatigue to bet against them? Possibly, but that’s not a sound strategy.

“If you’re betting money, and you want to win a game, I don’t think you should use the dislike factor. You should bet with who you really think is winning the game,” Avello added.

Speaking to Fox News Digital ahead of Super Bowl LIX this weekend, Warren shared his thoughts on veteran tight ends Travis Kelce and Dallas Goedert and the impact they’ve had not only on the game, but on the value of the position.

“I think his ability to always seem to get open, whether it’s one way or the other way – he knows what he does well, and he keeps doing that,” Warren said of the Kansas City Chiefs star.  “It’s not about looking a certain way, it’s about doing it and what works for you.”

“To keep being able to be this elite receiving tight end and do all that for this long of a period is really impressive. I think it speaks to his craft and how he attacks each game.”

Warren went on to praise Goedert’s physicality and versatility, recalling his brutal stiff-arm against Packers cornerback Carrington Valentine, which resulted in 24-yard touchdown in the Eagles’ 22–10 victory over Green Bay in the Wild-Card Round.

“It’s been awesome to watch,” he said. “I think tight ends have really been on [an upward] trend in just their usage, and they’re valuable. It’s been awesome to watch.
